Integrating a bill acceptor in .NET WPF C# with the KioskSimple API

KioskSimple supports integrating MEI bill acceptors in .NET WPF C#Integrating a bill acceptor into your .NET WPF application can be a daunting task, so we’ve created the KioskSimple API to ease the pains of integration by providing an abstracted C# API for popular bill acceptors.  To get you started quickly we’ve created code examples on integrating bill acceptors in .NET WPF C#.

How much time will the KioskSimple API save me?

Most of the bill acceptors we support can be integrated into your WPF C# application in a single day by using the KioskSimple bill acceptor API.  This can easily save you months of development over using the manufacturers SDK.

Where are the WPF C# bill acceptor code examples and API documentation?

The WPF C# code examples can be found here along with our API documentation.

How much does the license cost?

The license cost ranges between $209-$249 per kiosk.  This is a one-time cost, not a subscription.  You’ll need to purchase KioskSimple and the Bill Acceptor Plugin for the bill acceptor you want to support.

KioskSimple will allow you to run your WPF application in “kiosk mode” and generally secure the Windows oppertating system.  The Bill Acceptor Plugin will allow you to use the KioskSimple bill acceptor API.  So you’ll need to purchase KioskSimple in order to use the bill acceptor plugin.

Is there a free demo?

Yes, you can download the KioskSimple free demo here.  Once you install KioskSimple you’ll also need to download the bill acceptor plugin for the device you wish to support from the KioskSimple Configuration Tool (under PLUGIN STORE->Available).

Do you provide developer support?

KioskSimple support for bill acceptor integration .NET WPF C#Yes. We understand how difficult it can be to work with a poorly written bill acceptor SDK and that’s why we set out to make the KioskSimple API a pleasure to use and included detailed WPF C# code examples.  Our developer support team is available to answer any questions you may have about the code examples and we’ll even get you on the phone with a developer for no extra charge if email just doesn’t cut it.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions.
